[As the last strains of "Angels We Have Heard on High" leave Ilya's lips, she picks up a nearby mug and nurses at it a bit, kicking her legs and seemingly oblivious to the fact that she's being taped.

But not for long. She turns her eyes to the side and blinks in surprise.] Orpheus, you weren't supposed to turn that on yet! I'm still warming up!

[But with a little sigh and a soft smile of amusement, she shrugs it off.] Oh well, I guess I'm about ready. Most of you probably don't know this but I've been... complaining a little about the sort of music they're playing and some of us are singing about now. Not that I don't like Christmas or anything, I just don't like most of the songs.

But there are a few good ones out there, and so I decided that I'd sing all the ones I know that I actually like tonight. Sort of like caroling only I'm doing it over the network instead of door-to-door. As such, if you'd like to hear one, you can just respond and I'll sing one for you. You can either pick one or let me do it, I don't mind either way.

Just don't ask me to sing something like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" or "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", alright?

[Her message sent, Ilya takes another sip and starts to sing again.]

[Letting the last line fade off into the distance, she keeps her eyes closed for a moment, then gives a little bow.]

[The Mime Jr. hops up and starts to clap enthuisiastically. Joker himself just gives an impressed whistle.]

Don't think I've ever heard better! I'd give more applause myself, but 'fraid that's a bit hard ta do with just one hand. [He adjusts the camera briefly, showing the empty sleeve, before readjusting it.] Did ya do much singin' before ya came here, Miss?

[Seriously she's never had this kind of reaction to her singing since her mother died.]

Yes, I did. It was something I could do every day, even if there was nothing else to do. And this was my favorite type of music.

Well, with that kind of passion put inta it, no wonder you're good! I have half a mind ta offer ya a job in the future, although I'm not sure how ya would take to the circus, pretty gal like you.

The circus? [Her eyes sparkle with excitement.] How lovely! I've never been. My family always feared for my health around so many animals.

Now that won't do at all! Everyone deserves ta see the circus once in their lives. 'Course, I might be a bit biased. [He winks.] I'll be certain ta inform ya when it all gets started up! Just need ta arrive in Goldenrod first.

Don't suppose I could get the name of the lovely young lady I'm speakin' ta so I know who ta address when that happens?

[Unable to curtsey because she's still sitting, she gives another little bow instead.]
