9th Grail: [Video/Action for Ecruteak]
[Ilya's sitting at a table outside of what looks like the Ecruteak public library, a mug of something in one hand and a book in the other. Behind her, Xion can be seen looking up at something in the sky, though she's a bit out of focus.]
This city really is an amazing place to learn about the legends of the Pokemon world. I should have come here earlier. That story about the phoenix and the three beasts... I thought it was fascinating, until I stumbled upon this.
[She turns the book to the camera, showing off a picture of two certain Pokemon...]
These two are said to control Time and Space itself. That sort of power, in the hands of these two Pokemon! Imagine what they could do if they put their minds to it...
[There's an odd gleam in her eye as she mentions that. Though some people might be distracted by Xion beginning to wave her arms in the air at something offscreen...]
They weren't kidding when they called them Legendary. Does anyone know anyplace else I can find out more about them? I think I'm running out of references to them in Ecruteak... this place is much more interested in the beasts and the birds. Which are intriguing, but-
[Ilya's interrupted as a Dragonite suddenly swoops down and crashes into Xion. She jumps and whirls around, staring for a brief moment as a Garchomp joins in. Fortunately, there aren't any fighting sounds following it...]
Er, Xion, are you alright? [She glances at the gear.] Excuse me a moment everyone, I think I have to go save my traveling partner...
[The gear clicks off.]
[OOC: Responses will come fairly quickly, Xion's Pokemon are just being overly affectionate. Xion and Ilya are both available to respond to this post, though Ilya will be fielding pretty much everything that isn't "are you okay, Xion?"]

And what city would this be? Mmmm?
And she looks profoundly unimpressed.]
You must have missed the part of my post where I mentioned the name "Ecruteak". Surely you've heard of it. It's the city just north of Goldenrod, often mentioned as one of the best places to learn about legends in Johto.
[There's a pause as Crocker mumbles to himself and appears to be overlapping his hands in a devious manner in the shadows.] These Pokemon are becoming more and more like those fairies at home. I need to learn more if I'm going to complete my project...
[The man's vocal returns to his usual]
No, actually. Can't say that I have heard about Ecruteak. [There's the sound of Crocker leaning back in his chair.]
Tell me, what does this legend say about these Pokemon, mmm?

Ecruteak?
Ah, pardon me. I am rather fond of myths and legends myself, and as I am about to move on to the next city, I was debating requesting information on the prime locations to learn of such things in this world. There are so many mysteries to these pokemon after all... surely they were seen as gods in the past, and rightly so if there are those that possess that sort of power.

the jerk. Still, she's not really the type to discriminate based on that, and if he's interested in what she is, all the better.]Ah, well if that sort of information is what you're after, Ecruteak is definitely the place to go. A lot of what you'll find is based on the birds Ho-oh and Lugia, and the beasts Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, since this is actually the very place their legends began, but there's interesting pieces about legends from all over the world if you look carefully.
As for them being worshipped as gods, there's a bit of mention of that with Dialga and Palkia, the ones I was showing earlier, but sadly there's not as much information on them as I would have liked. Apparently they come from another region, called Sinnoh. If we could go there I'm sure we could learn much more about them.
text;
That's a shame, but still anything is better than nothing. One never know what one can find, after all. That there's anything here means there may be more complete collections of works from more than simply this region.

I was afraid you'd say that. I'm guessing none of the other cities have anything either?

[ Xion tries as best as she can to answer, but it's hard when you have two 7' and over dragons bearing down on your body. Bahamut the Garchomp tries to hook his arms around her neck and pull her onto his side with affectionate rumbles. Roxas the Dragonite is trying to curl his arms around her middle and pull onto his side. ]
Roxas is just... Roxas is just excited 'cause he evolve-- Roxas, no, you can't curl around me anymore.
[ Roxas lets out a whine. He's not as lithe and whiplike in body as he was as a Dragonair. Honestly, the only way Xion can be found among the limbs of dragons is the black among the purple and orange. ]
... Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your broadcast. [ And yet she still finds a way to worry about others. ]

Typhon, help her get free.
[Typhon tilts her head one way, then the other, then hops over to give each of them a quick headbutt to the chin before flouncing off to the left, teasing them to follow her.
Well, that's one way to get them off of Xion...]
And don't worry, I was pretty much done anyway. I just hope someone has something interesting to say.

Time and Space...they are two pretty powerful aspects that go hand in hand. time can be a little limited but if they actually combine that... [He frowns then adds.] Any idea what happened to them?
Not much of one. The books say they were mostly seen in the Sinnoh region, and there's mention of a huge mountain... But that's all I can get.

As to finding out more about them, I bet the people who live here may know, ne? You could ask them to tell you stories about them!

[It's a rhetorical question and she knows it, but it's only polite to ask.]

[It is a possibility, but not one he wants to entertain. It would be difficult to control "legendary" creatures like that, assuming one could even find them in the first place.]

[She, on the other hand, relishes the thought, because while it would indeed be difficult... it wouldn't be impossible.]
Of course, even if they aren't the ones responsible, you kind of have to wonder if they could do something similar. Or maybe they're fighting back against whatever's bringing us here, and that's why some people go back so often.

Well, I did tell you. It seems a shame that information on other regions is so difficult to find - particularly given that the reasons I've been given for it are frankly quite idiotic.
What sort of reasons have you heard? [She's... not really sure she wants to know, but she's too morbidly curious not ask.]

She's fine, Saber. They were just being affectionate. [Judging by her fond smile, there really is nothing to worry about.] I think her Dragonite just evolved and wanted to show off.
