1st Grail: [Action for Goldenrod]
[There is a young girl in Team attire wandering the halls.
Ilya was getting bored sitting and waiting for someone to come get her, and she doesn't yet understand how to use the gear, so instead she's decided to poke her head out and find out about this place firsthand. She doesn't seem to have any real idea where she's going, or what most of the things she's surrounded by are, so she could probably be found anywhere, and she's distracted enough that other team members will probably notice her before she notices them.
That, however, is not true of the Duskull that just popped out in front of her, right in the face of anyone looking at her. Red eyes staring at them, it lets out a spooky wail.
She turns to follow the sound and beams, uncaring of how discomfited the other member may or may not be.]
Good work, Orpheus, you found someone!
[Late in the afternoon in Goldenrod city, there is the sound of something pounding on the pavement.
Is it a swarm of pokemon in the city? A new rocket plot? Another angry legendary?
Nope, it's just a young girl-]
Faster, Berserker, Faster!
[Riding through town on the back of her Rhyhorn.
People dive out of the way of the galloping rock-type, but Ilya doesn't seem to care in the slightest. She throws back her head and laughs gleefully, not even paying attention to anything but the rush of her ride.
... Someone might want to try and stop her before she smashes something.]

action
Ah... hello.
action
[The girl takes her team skirt in each hand and gives Ren a little curtsy.]
I am Ilyasviel von Einzbern. It's nice to meet you.
action
It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss von Einzbern. I'm Ren Jinguji.
action
[And boy is she curious. Not even hiding her glances around them to try and discern what she can see, even if most of it is completely foreign to her.]
action
We're in a Pokémon world. The region we're in is called Johto and the city we're in is Goldenrod. And this place [He gestures around them.] is a base for an organization called Team Rocket.
action
Oh, are those the Servant monsters we got when we arrived here?
[She seems to place a strange emphasis on the word "servant".]
action
That would be right. They're our partners and we're supposed to train them so they can help us live in this world. It's also possible to get more of them.
action
[Immediately, her eyes light up, and she gives him a look of wonder, hope... and maybe a little greed.]
How many more?
action
You can carry six in total with you, but you can store others in a PC at the Pokémon Center. You can switch them with the ones you have at hand at any time.
There are at least four hundred different species in this world.
action
[She frowns, clearly wanting to have more than that at once, but brightens up fairly quickly.]
Well, then I'd better get started! How do we get them? I want to get as many as I can!
action
The other way is to walk into the tall grass, fish or otherwise encounter Pokémon in the wild. After you battle with them, it's possible to catch them with a Pokéball.
[Then there's also stealing, but she'll unfortunately learn that during her training...]
action
[She is so overjoyed about this. The more Pokemon, the better, as far as she's concerned.]
So you send your Servant Pokemon to fight the wild Pokemon, throw a ball at them, and that makes them your Servants?
action
[He's just too lazy to ever visit them.]
That's right. It's really quite simple - especially if you're Pokémon is stronger than them.
[Though now he's curious enough.]
I hope you don't mind me asking... but you seem to refer them as "servants". Are you used to having servants at home?
action
[At his question, she simply nods... but her face falls at the same time.]
Well, sort of... I had two maids and... well, I can't talk about the other one.
[He's not involved in the War, after all.]
But I haven't had them in a while anyway. Not since I moved in with Shirou.
action
Ah, I see. Well, Pokémon aren't really comparable to human servants, but they're here to follow your commands. It's important to maintain a good relationship with them, though.
action
I think I can do that. So they'll do anything I say as long as I treat them well?
action
action
[Honestly, she doesn't think treating her Pokemon well will be that hard, as long as they don't make her upset.]
So why do they want to be with us then, even if we treat them badly?
[Berserker hadn't minded when she'd treated him poorly, though that was mostly because he wasn't really sane most of the time, and also because she couldn't really do anything but yell at him. But it was also because Berserker had a reason to listen to her. The command spells.]
action
action
[That's even better than the command spells!]
action
action
[And if she's understanding him right, that's true for everyone.]
But you said it's important to have a good relationship with them, anyway.
action
[But it wasn't like he could just release it. Rocket starter and all.]
action
[And Ilya can kind of see where he's coming from.]
But can't you just order him not to attack you?
action
Usually Pokémon are obedient though, so there's no real need to worry about that... but if you want to be sure that they are, it's important to remain good towards them from the beginning.
